Responsibilities & Qualifications:

The QA Engineer will lead quality assurance efforts, including test planning, execution, defect management, and process improvement. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior members, and contribute to project success by delivering high-quality software products. Key responsibilities include:

Competencies:

The ideal candidate should demonstrate expertise in quality assurance, test planning and execution, problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, quality focus, time and task management, adaptability, learning agility, leadership, team management, strategic thinking, mentoring, and subject matter expertise.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in quality analysis
• 1+ year of experience leading a QA team
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Proficiency in test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect tracking
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Experience in API testing and testing Web and Desktop applications
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience with Azure DevOps, relational databases (SQL Server preferred), browser developer tools, and Postman
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/technology field preferred or equivalent industry experience
• Excellent customer-service orientation
• Ability to effectively delegate tasks, assess and articulate risk, and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and regulations preferred
