Deutsche Bank is seeking an Associate QA Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, India, as part of their primary High-Value payments engine, Galileo. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the functionality and stability of the platform, ensuring seamless service for customers globally.

Company Overview:

Deutsche Bank’s primary High-Value payments engine is Galileo. As a global financial institution, Deutsche Bank provides various financial services to customers around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and validate End-to-End Payment Testing Scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing, both manual and automated
• Interact with sprint teams, Partner Applications, and Operations staff
• Identify and implement opportunities for test automation and efficiencies
• Produce clear documentation for test cases, defects, and summary documentation
• Analyze project requirements to provide QA estimates and ensure appropriate test coverage
• Interact with stakeholders and teams from different regions
• Analyze existing payment applications/processes and provide documentation

Qualifications:

• Experience in formal Software Quality Assurance, preferably in the Financial Industry
• Proven success in designing, preparing, and executing detailed test cases
• Test Automation experience is a must
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple initiatives
• Payments domain experience highly preferred
• Expertise in payments processing and understanding of Booking logic and reconciliation processes
• Working experience in projects under AGILE and SCRUM methodology
• Toolset knowledge of SQL, Oracle 11g, Jira, Sharepoint, Confluence

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Payment Processing for common Payment products (SWIFT and SEPA) as well as ISO20022 financial service messages
• Good documentation and communication skills
• Working as part of a globally-dispersed team
