Role Overview
As a Software QA Analyst, you will ensure the reliability and quality of payment software solutions. The role involves analyzing specifications, designing functional test cases, validating transaction flows, and collaborating with Agile and DevOps teams to improve product quality.
You will work with payment protocols and transaction systems while performing detailed log analysis and regression testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze software specifications in the payment domain.
- Design and execute functional test cases and test scenarios.
- Validate payment transaction flows and system integrations.
- Perform non-regression testing to ensure software stability.
- Prepare test data, test execution reports, and documentation.
- Log and track defects using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile meetings, planning sessions, and estimations.
- Conduct log analysis and troubleshooting for transaction flows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in software testing or QA.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic programming knowledge is beneficial.
Domain Knowledge (Preferred)
- Experience in payment systems and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of ISO8583 payment messaging standard.
- Understanding of EMV transaction flows.
- Experience in log analysis for payment transactions.
