Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing strategies, frameworks, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with our development and quality assurance teams to identify test scenarios, design and integrate execution of automated test scripts, and analyze test results to identify defects and track issues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated testing strategies, frameworks, and test scripts using JavaScript based tooling.
• Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to identify test scenarios, requirements, and acceptance criteria for automation.
• Design, code, and integrate execution of automated test scripts using appropriate tools and technologies, such as Selenium WebDriver.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks and scripts to ensure efficiency, reliability, and up-to-date coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to isolate, reproduce, and track issues.
• Participate in overall test planning and test case design activities, ensuring proper integration of automated tests into the testing process.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure alignment of automated tests with project goals.
• Collaborate with team members to establish and improve automation best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automated testing and quality assurance.
• Provide accurate and timely status reports on test automation progress, test coverage, and identified issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 4+ years of experience as an Automation Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Strong experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies, including agile and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience in API testing and knowledge of tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with other programming languages and technologies.
• Certification in software testing or quality assurance.
