Responsibilities
- Receive advanced versions of games before public release.
- Test games and their different versions.
- Play each character within the game.
- Play each level from start to finish, for example, beginner, intermediate and advanced.
- Play repeatedly to attempt all moves and decisions.
- Navigate menus and submenus.
- Identify faults in games and find the cause.
- Recommend how to improve games.
- Write reports for quality control.
- Compare games that are currently on the market.
- Check for spelling mistakes in the game, manuals, and packaging.
- Report any copyright issues.
- Test revised editions.
- Ensure games are accessible.
