Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Define quality standards and metrics for each project.
2. Prepare test plans, test cases, and test data.
3. Set goals and objectives for QA Engineers and monitor their progress.
4. Discover bugs in the application, execute test cases, and analyze the results.
5. Identify potential problems that users might encounter.
6. Conduct post-implementation testing.
7. Follow quality best practices.
8. Provide frequent feedback to developers, including recommendations for improvements, evaluation of problems, potential solutions, and discussion of further test requirements.
9. Define QA and SDLC processes as required for successful software application deployment.
10. Ensure effective and efficient application of test processes using appropriate tools, techniques, and methodologies.
11. Understand and define overall project risks and create strategies to mitigate them.
12. Train, motivate, and correct the QA team to ensure all quality standards are met.
13. Review team status reports and take appropriate actions accordingly.
14. Send detailed quality status reports to management on a regular basis.
15. Collaborate with other team members to understand the scope of automation testing.
16. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure overall project quality.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Software QA Testing.
• Hands-on experience in API testing.
• Thorough understanding of testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience in writing test cases and test plans.
• Knowledge of software and web security technology.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools.

Additional Skills:

• Ability to learn and apply new technologies in the industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Experience in business analysis will be a plus.
