Mediaocean is Hiring for Manual Test Engineer | Location – Pune

Mediaocean, a leading player in the advertising ecosystem, is seeking a Specialist – Test Engineering (Manual) to join their team in Pune, India. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, contributing to the optimization of omnichannel marketing experiences for brands and agencies.

Qualification Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing
• Experience in manual testing with basic automation concepts and a strong focus on quality
• Knowledge of testing enterprise web-based applications
• Attention to detail, analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude
• Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight and ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and QA methodology
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Working knowledge of any test management software like Jira, QC, etc.
• Working knowledge of API testing using Postman, Karate, or Jmeter would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Build and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Develop and maintain manual and functional automated test suites
• Interface with Dev/QA to clarify functional doubts and create test data and configuration
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Team Leads, Developers, QA, and Business Analysts to understand features and technical implementations
• Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, retrospectives, and process reviews
• Raise defects/issues with clarity and correctness and follow through to resolution
• Report on test results and progress as required

Desirable Skills

• Working knowledge of API testing using Postman, Karate, or Jmeter
• Familiarity with automated testing concepts
