Role Overview
As a Software QA Test Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of software applications used in clinical and research environments. The role involves manual testing, test case creation, database validation using SQL queries, and collaboration with developers and end users to maintain high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and users throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and testing documentation.
- Perform manual testing for complex applications.
- Design and execute SQL queries for backend/database validation.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Review requirement specifications and ensure complete test coverage.
- Participate in peer reviews of test cases.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
Required Skills
- Experience in manual testing and test case execution.
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile-like environments.
- Good analytical, written, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with database tools such as Cassandra, MSSQL, MongoDB, or Studio 3T.
- Exposure to Snowflake database.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare or regulated industry environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in Software Testing.
- Experience writing and executing manual test cases for complex applications.
