Responsibilities:

• Advocate for the end-user by ensuring the Quicken Windows application meets their needs, expectations, and usability standards.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for testing Windows desktop applications, covering all functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create detailed test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance of the Quicken application, updating them as needed.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Windows App Driver.
• Identify, report, and track software defects using Jira, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Conduct performance testing to assess responsiveness, scalability, and stability of the desktop application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and technical support to ensure alignment on quality goals.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends, proposing and implementing process improvements.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to junior QA team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in manual and automation testing of Windows/Desktop-based applications.
• Strong understanding of QA process and testing mindset.
• Experience in test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Hands-on knowledge of automated testing for Windows, web, and mobile applications.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Desirable Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to work independently and proactively address testing challenges.
