💼 Role Overview
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing of Workday HCM, Finance, and Integration solutions. You will design and execute comprehensive test strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory and validation standards.
This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on Workday testing experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in compliance-driven environments.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end QA testing across Workday HCM, Finance, and Integrations
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts
- Validate Workday configurations including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent modules
- Conduct integration testing for inbound and outbound Workday interfaces with third-party systems
- Ensure testing aligns with compliance and regulatory requirements (GxP and FDA standards)
- Perform data validation, security role testing, and Business Process Framework (BPF) workflow testing
- Support SIT, UAT, regression, and release testing cycles
- Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve defects
- Prepare validation documentation including traceability matrices and defect reports
- Participate in Workday release cycles and conduct impact analysis
🎓 Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with hands-on Workday testing
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM and Finance modules
- Experience with Workday integrations
- Hands-on experience with testing and defect management tools such as ALM and JIRA
- Experience in regulated environments (Life Sciences/Pharma preferred but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of GxP and FDA compliance frameworks (advantage)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles
