💼 Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Software Tester with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high product quality across web and mobile applications by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies.
You will collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and UI/UX teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing applications.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs
- Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts
- Conduct Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing
- Perform API testing and validate backend integrations
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best testing practices
🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual & Automation)
- Strong expertise in writing clear, structured, and comprehensive test cases
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Cypress / Playwright
- Appium (for mobile testing)
- Experience in API testing using Postman / Rest Assured
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
⭐ Preferred Skills
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter
- Experience in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS)
- Understanding of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
