SS&C Technologies, Inc. is seeking a qualified Lead Software QA Engineer to join their team in Hyderabad, India. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global provider of investment and financial services and software for the financial services and healthcare industries. With a strong focus on ensuring information systems products meet end-user functional and design requirements, this role requires expertise in Quality Assurance practices, along with proficiency in Selenium, Java, Cucumber, TestNG, and Jira.

Qualification Requirements:

• Minimally requires a Master’s degree and 4 years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of related experience, or high school degree and 8 years of related experience.
• Strong experience in Quality Assurance practices.
• Experience in Selenium, Java, Cucumber, TestNG, and Jira.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Java/JavaScript.
• Good to have some experience with AWS, GitHub action.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Fast learner, high capacity for abstract thinking, and structured approach to work.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that information systems products meet end-user functional and design requirements through the execution of software quality tests.
• Execute integration, performance, regression, and/or acceptance testing.
• Perform risk assessments, determine testing plans, analyze test results, and retest software corrections to maintain quality standards.
• Develop and support the test automation environment for executing software quality tests.
• Work closely with information technology teams in planning, designing, maintaining, implementing, and accessing physical and virtual automation frameworks or infrastructure for testing activities.
• Lead medium to large projects or work on complex or high-profile issues.
• Lead a process or function without direct reports.
• Develop policies and procedures and recommend best practices.
• Advise and provide direction to more junior professionals.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Quality Assurance practices.
• Experience in Selenium, Java, Cucumber, TestNG, and Jira.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Java/JavaScript.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Fast learner, high capacity for abstract thinking, and structured approach to work.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with AWS.
