Responsibilities:

1. Design and Develop Automated Test Suites: Collaborate with the development team to create and implement automated test suites using Cypress for web applications and Appium for mobile applications.
2. Test Planning and Strategy: Assist in developing comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
3. Execution and Maintenance: Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects. Maintain and update existing automated test scripts as needed.
4. CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment processes.
5. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to validate software stability and ensure backward compatibility.
6. Documentation: Document test cases, scenarios, and results. Contribute to testing standards and best practices documentation.
7. Bug Tracking: Thoroughly document and track bugs, participating in bug triage as needed.
8. Quality Assurance Metrics: Design and monitor quality assurance metrics to assess product health and quality.
9. QA Reporting: Generate QA reports to provide visibility into product health and quality.
10. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new testing tools and strategies.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of proven experience in Software Development and Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with Selenium or Cypress for automated Web UI testing.
• Familiarity with project management, build, release, and documentation tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and TeamCity.
• Experience with automated API testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for Cypress and either Java or Python for Appium.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with performance and/or security testing tools like JMeter.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
