Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform rigorous testing of products/platforms/solutions that are deployed at client sites. The candidate will ensure all developments meet 100% of quality assurance parameters before deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Understand test requirements and design test cases for the product.
• Author and implement test plans based on business requirements.
• Utilize Model-based testing for efficient test generation as per Wipro’s standards.
• Automate the test lifecycle processes using VB macros, GUI automation, and scheduling tools.
• Design and execute automation frameworks, set up test environments, and develop test scenarios.
• Work closely with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version management and effective communication.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure thorough validation before final client presentation.
• Prepare and deliver test status dashboards and defect reports to stakeholders.
• Continuously provide feedback on usability and quality risks to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
• Expertise in various testing and automation tools.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Proficiency in VB macros, GUI automation tools, and test management software.
• Deep understanding of software development and testing lifecycle.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Model-based testing.
• Familiarity with Wipro’s testing methodologies.
