ZF is Hiring for HIL Testing Lead | Software Testing Jobs

ZF, a global technology leader in automotive systems, is seeking a skilled HIL Testing Lead to join their team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This critical role involves analyzing software requirements, designing test cases, and ensuring the quality of software components. If you have a background in automotive systems engineering and a passion for ensuring safe and efficient mobility solutions, this opportunity could be for you.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering
• 6+ years of test engineering experience in automotive systems
• Experience/knowledge of safety-related engineering processes and methods
• Good training skills
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in HIL/SIL/MIL testing is highly desirable
• Test experience with the AUTOSAR architecture/environment in the automotive domain
• Good knowledge of safety standards like ISO26262
• Preferred with the ISTQB Certification (minimum foundation level)

Responsibilities:

• Analyze software requirements to derive software test cases
• Design and implement manual and automated test cases
• Extensively test software components using manual and automation methods
• Incorporate requirements traceability into the software test specification
• Interface with global cross-functional teams to understand requirements and review designs
• Coordinate cross-domain interactions for projects

Qualifications:

• Experience in ADAS/Vehicle Braking System is highly desirable
• Experience of setting up a test bench and debugging skills
• Strong knowledge in CAN, UDS, and CAPL
• Experience in CANoe, DSPACE tools
• Strong knowledge in Ethernet, SOME IP, CANape/CANxcp
• Scripting using C/C++/Python
• Good knowledge of Continuous Integration
• Exposure to emulators, simulators, debugging, and test equipment
• Experience with formal configuration management tools
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project)
• Familiarity with requirements analysis tools such as PTC, DOORS is highly desirable

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in system engineering of automotive electronics
• Experience in AUTOSAR architecture/environment in the automotive domain
