The Allstate Insurance Company is seeking an Associate Principal Consultant to lead end-to-end testing and delivery of new insurance products & capabilities on Duck Creek Policy Underwriting & Admin Platform utilizing SAFe Agile. The Lead Software Engineer will also be responsible for testing all integrations and interfaces upstream as well as downstream supporting business objectives of Small Business division and other divisions of Allstate.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in functional walkthroughs..
• Analyze new requirements and use cases to develop test approach and deliverables (test approach & architecture, scenarios, test conditions, test cases, test data, and expected results)
• Conduct ad-hoc and exploratory testing.
• Create and execute automation test cases.
• Participate in the development of test coverage approach and maintain test plan in test management tool.
• Develop custom tools, utilities or approaches, as required to test the application and features for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Enter test cases, analyze results and document defects in defect tracking tool
• Evaluate system behavior prior to and during load tests.
• Participate in the release management and quality process to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
• Demonstrate awareness of the product backend systems/services
• Demonstrate understanding of the high-level solution and product architecture to follow the test pyramid and automation guidelines.
• Lead test management for the product team

Primary Skills:

• Experience/knowledge of P&C Insurance
• Duck Creek Policy or Billing Certification
• Hands-on experience on test automation tools such as Selenium
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of P&C industry and solutions with 6-8 years’ experience in defining architecture and design on Duck Creek suite – both SaaS and on-premises
• Technical knowledge of overall Duck Creek suite including Policy, Billing, Insights, and distribution management to lead integration.
• Experience in configuring Duck Creek product for Commercial Auto lines is preferable.
• Experience in integrating Duck Creek product with in-house systems and third-party systems
• Experience in configuring Duck Creek is SaaS mode is mandatory.
• Experience upgrading Duck Creek preferably 7.x – 8.x Upgrade.

Shift Timing:

13:00 PM – 21:30 PM (Monday thru Friday)

The individual is expected to join ECC calls when required irrespective of time of day and provide oversight for any activities scheduled for the weekend.
