Qualification Requirements:

• Experience with an automation-first approach to testing in areas including web user interface (UI), API testing, PnV testing, and SQL.
• Programming skills in either Java or JavaScript/TypeScript demonstrated in a Test Automation Framework such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cypress, Playwright/Puppeteer, and experience with API testing tooling such as SuperTest, TestNG, or Postman.
• Excellent communication skills to demonstrate technical ability to a wide audience within the tribe such as other engineers, product owners, and the leadership team.
• Experience in cloud tooling such as AWS or GCP, continuous integration/continuous delivery such as Jenkins or CodeFresh, and application containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines and testing techniques.
• Good knowledge in test case management and quality engineering best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assess a squad’s quality engineering capability through analysis of the development process, test case management, defect analysis, and technical resources in use.
• Provide guidance and training in process and tooling to Quality Engineers in product-focused squads.
• Work directly with Product Owners and Business Analysts from product-focused squads to improve the quality engineering process outlining the requirements to achieve this.
• Design and develop quality engineering solutions that can maximize business value through automation.
• Help foster a culture of innovation within the tribe.
