Job Description: We are seeking a Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team at ITIData. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our scrum teams, focusing on testing Ab Initio-ETL applications. This role involves integrating data across internal and external sources, providing analytical insights, and integrating with critical systems.

Technical Stack:

• Ab Initio 3.5.x or 4.0.x software suite
• Ab Initio 3.5.x or 4.0.x frameworks
• Big Data: Cloudera or Hortonworks Hadoop, Hive, Yarn
• Databases: Oracle 11G/12C, Teradata, MongoDB, Snowflake, Cassandra
• Others: JIRA, Service Now, Linux 6/7/8, SQL Developer, AutoSys, Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed test plans, test scripts, and test cases based on business logic and user requirements.
• Expertise in Big Data/Collibra/Ab Initio/Informatica Testing.
• Analyze transformation rules, rate complexities, and prepare estimations.
• Prepare and execute E2E, Integration, functional, and smoke test cases. Write SQL queries for data validation.
• Work with the development team to create a suite of test data that fully exercises data validation.
• Improve specification and design documents through active review and feedback with developers.
• Monitor execution of workflows, prepare root cause analysis reports.
• Validate business rules and data using testing techniques.
• Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix in Quality Center and send to project manager. Responsible for updating weekly reports.
• Participate in defect triage meetings to discuss defect complexity and priorities.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of HP-ALM tool for Manual Testing; knowledge of automated testing will be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of quality assurance methods and procedures, software testing lifecycle, as well as SDLC (Agile Scrum Methodology, Waterfall Methodology).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and project planning skills.
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem identification, resolution, comprehension, and interpretation of technical procedures.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field.
• 5-7 years of experience in a relevant role.

Desirable Skills:

• Automated testing experience.
• Familiarity with additional tools and technologies in the technical stack.
