Qualification Requirements:
- Overall experience of 13+ years in manual and automated testing (Mandatory)
- Knowledge and experience in automated testing using Javascript/Typescript (Mandatory)
- Experience with Cucumber, Specflow, or any other BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) framework (Mandatory)
- Extensive experience in API testing (Mandatory)
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience in business or systems related to the banking industry, particularly Transaction Banking

Responsibilities:
- Gain understanding of how the application works to become the user expert.
- Participate in creating a test strategy aligned with the “shift-left” approach.
- Test microservices, APIs, and integration workflows using defined test strategies.
- Develop automated/manual tests for functional and non-functional testing.
- Report testing progress to the squad.
- Identify and drive improvements to test practices and processes.
- Assist with hiring testing resources.
- Capture, prioritize, follow up, and retest defects.
- Coordinate UAT activities and issue resolution with Product owners and Support team.
- Create Test Summary Reports when required.
- Contribute to regular Showcase sessions.
- Share knowledge and provide assistance to other team members.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of agile behaviors and the role of testing in an agile team with a focus on “shift-left” (Mandatory)
- Skills in software delivery with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent debugging and analysis skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively in a highly autonomous squad team environment, delivering value and wins.
Required Skills:
- Manual and automated testing experience
- Automated testing using Javascript/Typescript
- Experience with Cucumber, Specflow, or similar BDD frameworks
- Extensive experience in API testing
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience in banking industry systems, particularly Transaction Banking
