Apple’s IS&T team is seeking exceptional individuals who are committed to working with similarly skilled engineers to deliver software quickly and efficiently with increasing quality.
To succeed, you must be a proficient programmer who can thoroughly test applications and services and help improve team velocity through automation. We’re looking for highly motivated individuals who can continually research and apply the newest technologies to test engineering, independently solve issues, and influence teams to adopt the best test practices. You’ll engage deeply with engineering teams through all phases of development.
Key Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should possess 1 to 2 years of work experience in Software Development or Quality Engineering.
- They must have experience in creating test strategies, scenarios and cases for various aspects such as UI (Web and iOS apps), Web Services, and DB workflows.
- They should have experience in functional, system, integration and exploratory testing.
- Exposure to automation, performance, software quality testing tools and CI/CD integrations is also required.
- The candidate should have worked with Java, Python or any other object-oriented programming languages.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent context switching is necessary.
- Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills are a must-have.
- The candidate should have a strong passion to achieve great quality product.

Description
- As a Quality Engineer at Apple, you’ll build QE test plans, strategies, and cases for any given app/feature, collaborate with Dev, BPR, and other project teams to execute test plans and deliver high-quality products, and perform automation, performance, and code quality testing using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber-JVM, REST API, Appium, Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter, Jenkins, SonarQube, and more.
- You’ll need to be self-motivated, dedicated, able to grasp issues quickly, and make educated, critical judgments in ambiguous situations.
- You’ll provide project managers with timely and accurate testing status and progress during all testing phases, summarizing results at project conclusion.
- You must be able to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in Agile methodology to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Experience
To be eligible for this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
