What you’ll do
- Your role will be to report to the Manager Software Development as part of the Corporate IT team.
- You will work with an Agile team to ensure the software is of high quality before it is released to production.
- To test the front-end and back-end components of the software, you will use your manual and test automation skills.
- Your contribution to the team will be essential in ensuring the quality of the product for the customer.
- You will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment where sharing ideas and thoughts is part of the culture.
- You will perform manual testing on front-end and back-end software components, using various testing methods like black box testing, white box testing, grey box testing, adhoc testing, regression testing, and smoke testing.
- You will also build, execute, and maintain a test automation suite using test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium and Specflow.
- In addition, you are expected to be familiar with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD), automated unit testing (AUT), and behaviour-driven development (BDD).

You should Have.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- You should have at least 1 year of experience in building automated tests.
- You should also have at least 1 year of experience in testing APIs (Soap, REST) and web services in a back-end environment.
- Professional experience of 1 year in using Selenium is a must-have for this job.
- You should also have at least 1 year of professional experience in automating in either C#, Java, or Python.
- Additionally, you should have at least 1 year of professional experience in manual testing.
- Experience with BDD using Gherkin is required.
- You must have a working knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, and industry standards in automation.
- Knowledge of Specflow with C# is preferred.
- If you have previously held a developer role, it will be considered a plus.
- Any experience with performance testing will be an added advantage.
