5+ years of experience in designing and implementing QA/QC framework for data operation processes/engineering projects using standard quality management methodology, tools, and software packages.
Experience in design/test/implementation/consulting with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions is desired.
Deep technical proficiency and experience with the software development process.
Experience managing complex data analysis and large-scale data evaluation projects is a plus.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work in a self-directed environment.
High degree of adaptability, flexibility, creative decision-making, and technical problem-solving abilities.
Experience with data modeling and analytics solution stacks is a plus.
Experience in shell scripting, make, Python/Perl, and Bash is a plus.

The Senior Quality Engineer will design effective QA/QC processes and tools for labeling methods to produce high-quality datasets for Apple’s ML projects.
The position involves studying customer’s dataset and quality requirements, translating them to QA/QC process/tool requirements, and designing prototype solutions.
The Senior Quality Engineer will implement the solutions in a large-scale operational environment and act as a technical liaison between internal customers and the AI/ML engineering teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
The role includes designing predictive models to inform customers about the quality of the datasets delivered and their likely impact on their ML models.
The Senior Quality Engineer will collect, prioritize, and implement feature requests for various annotation platforms and work with platform engineering teams to review sprint plans, perform release testing, and identify/resolve bugs before production release.
This is a highly collaborative position that requires working with Engineering, Quality, Training, and Production Ops to deliver premier solutions.
The role requires managing and leading change effectively while maintaining Apple culture and standards.
Essential for this role are social skills and technical product knowledge and expertise.

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent experience.
Professional certification preferred: ASQ or LEAN/Six Sigma.
