Job Title: Senior/Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Advocate for and assist in implementing the Quality Practices initiative in the Tribe/Platform.
2. Develop and maintain overarching testing artifacts (Test Strategy/Approach, Test Exit Report) in accordance with minimum testing standards, ensuring regular review and approval.
3. Support the Quality Practices lead in managing vendors and stakeholders.
4. Participate in defect triage meetings with Customer Outcome Owners and follow up until defects are resolved. Provide regular bug status reports to stakeholders.
5. Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated functional tests within the designated framework. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the testing framework.
6. Collaborate closely with project squads to deliver solutions that meet the required standards.
7. Work closely with the Enablement Squad to promote an engineering culture.
8. Engage in various project activities such as increment planning, requirements analysis, deployment process, and release management.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

1. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, and C#, specifically for creating automated functional tests.
2. Hands-on experience in testing, including planning, execution, monitoring, analysis, and reporting, using tools like Sahi Pro and Accessibility tools.
3. Demonstrated experience in performance testing, including accessibility, client-side performance, server-side performance, security/penetration, visual automation, and exploratory testing. Familiarity with tools like JMeter, Lighthouse, Sahi Pro, and Accessibility tools (IE Plugin, NVDA, Color Contrast, Chrome plugins like Wave).
4. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk and AppDynamics.
5. Minimum 2-4 years of experience working in an Agile environment.
6. Deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
7. Excellent communication skills and analytical ability.
8. Strong technical and organizational skills.
9. Flexibility and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external clients.
10. Familiarity with various automation frameworks, including Hybrid, BDD, and Data-driven.
11. Good knowledge of integrated tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity, Kibana, and Logstash.
