Bentley Systems, a leading infrastructure engineering software company, is seeking a skilled Software Quality Analyst II to join their Civil Engineering group. The position, based anywhere in India, offers an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of civil design and analysis software.

Position Summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual with bridge and/or road design experience to join their Civil Engineering group as a Software Quality Analyst II. The role involves validating and functionally verifying a suite of Civil Design and Analysis Software. The successful candidate will collaborate with other quality analysts, product management, and development teams across multiple product lines.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze product requirements
• Create and maintain automation environment in Azure
• Develop and execute unit, regression, performance, and workflow tests
• Create test design, including user scenarios, test cases, and checklists
• Create validation and failure analysis for automated tests
• Detect, analyze, log, and track software bugs/defects
• Collaborate with team members and product managers to accomplish testing and development objectives
• Document procedures and recommendations for all phases of product testing

Skills/Experience

• Analytical mindset
• CAD design software experience (MicroStation is a plus)
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience with Test Complete tool and windows-based applications (a plus)
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing reusable and maintainable automated scripts
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and/or C++
• Familiarity with automated test procedures and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Aptitude for analyzing information, developing recommendations, and presenting proposed solutions

Education

• B.E / M.E. /B.S. /M. S in any Engineering discipline
