Job Description:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

1. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC).
2. Extensive experience in Core Java.
3. Proficiency in using JUNIT, TestNG, and the Maven build tool for test automation.
4. Experience with continuous integration using Jenkins and version control systems like GitHub.
5. Strong expertise in utilizing Selenium Grid for distributed testing.
6. Ability to identify web elements using XPATH and CSS selectors.
7. Familiarity with cross-browser testing, system testing, system integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and test automation.
8. Good knowledge of defect management, defect life cycle, and experience using defect tracking tools such as Bugzilla, JIRA, TFS, and ALM.
9. Knowledge of API testing is considered a valuable asset.
10. Proficiency in functional testing is a prerequisite for this role.
