Role Overview:
The IT Quality Analyst 2 role is designed for a developing professional who applies specialized knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data. This role involves identifying policy gaps and formulating policies, interpreting data, and making recommendations. The position requires researching and interpreting factual information, identifying inconsistencies in data, and defining business issues to formulate policy, procedure, or practice recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Supporting initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Collaborating with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate testing strategies and approaches for applications.
The IT Quality Analyst 2 integrates established knowledge within their specialty area while developing a basic understanding of related industry practices. They are familiar with how their team collaborates with others to achieve objectives and gradually gain working knowledge of industry standards. The impact of this role is primarily limited to the quality of tasks and services provided within their own team.

- Conducting various process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments.
- Documenting findings and preparing nonconformance reports.
- Tracking nonconformance items and ensuring resolution before project deployment to production.
- Creating and maintaining testing verification matrices.
- Gathering, maintaining, and reporting on quality metrics.
- Verifying traceability in project work products.
- Demonstrating a good understanding of procedures and concepts within their technical area and a basic knowledge of related elements in other areas.
- Making evaluative judgments based on factual information, resolving problems through application of technical experience and guided by precedents.
- Impacting their team and closely related teams through the quality of the tasks and services provided.
- Communicating ideas and information concisely and logically, adapting to diverse audiences.
- Performing other assigned duties and functions.
Qualifications:
0-2 years of preferred Quality Assurance experience.
Understanding of QA within a Software Development environment.
Logical analysis skills and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to work to deadlines.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in designing and executing test cases.
