Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant proven work experience
Responsibilities:
- Implementing DevOps practices using various tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Ansible, Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes, GIT, Udeploy, and Sonar
- Configuring and integrating plugins to automate build, deployment, and testing processes
- Implementing DevOps for heterogeneous environments, including applications using Java, Python, and Big Data technologies
- Managing build and configuration using Maven, GIT, HTML, JSP, CSS, React, and JavaScript
- Working in a Linux environment and utilizing open-source libraries
- Understanding relational database concepts and proficient in SQL
- Designing, building, and maintaining application architecture on physical, virtual, and cloud platforms
- Analyzing existing systems and recommending DevOps solutions to improve speed to market and add value
- Automating manual processes to reduce errors and increase efficiency
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement DevOps strategies
- Monitoring and measuring the maturity of DevOps practices across departments
- Supporting agile/lean software development techniques and tools like JIRA
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in implementing DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of technical architecture and DevOps concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Ansible, Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes, GIT, Udeploy, and Sonar
- Experience with build and configuration management using Maven, GIT, HTML, JSP, CSS, React, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Linux environments and open-source libraries
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Ability to design, build, and maintain application architecture on various platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Desirable Skills:
- Certification in relevant DevOps tools or technologies
- Experience with Big Data technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of agile/lean software development methodologies
