Profile Description:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and experiences:
- Strong Knowledge: Very good knowledge of .Net, SQL, and automation using C# (any work experience would be desirable).
- Test Management: Good understanding of the Test Management process, including functional, database, ETL testing, sanity, end-to-end integration, and regression testing.
- API Testing and Automation: Experience in API testing and SOAP/REST service automation.
- SQL and UML: Proficiency in SQL concepts and understanding of UML.
- TFS/MTM: Knowledge and experience in TFS/MTM (Team Foundation Server/Microsoft Test Manager).
- Agile Methodologies: Clear understanding and experience in Scrum methodologies.
- Attention to Detail: Perform manual testing of web-based applications, web services, and script C# code to test services, adhering to all processes and completing assigned activities on time.
- Testing Strategies: Ability to develop different testing flows/methods for a given scenario and adhere to test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with stakeholders including Development, QA, Project Manager, BA, and onsite teams for successful test coverage and quality.
- Communication: Strong English communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate ideas concisely and convincingly.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to quickly identify gaps in testing and integrations.
- SDLC and STLC: Very good knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) processes.
