Job Description:

• The candidate will be responsible for administering Tibco Spotfire servers across On-prem, Colo, and Cloud infrastructure.
• Apply modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch of new business capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Spotfire & Tibco Data Virtualization and provide systems support.
• Configure and administer Spotfire Server components such as TIBCO Spotfire, Application Data Services, and Automation Services.
• Manage and migrate Spotfire contents, set up security, design Information Links, and configure licenses and preferences.
• Deploy Spotfire Packages and perform upgrades.
• Perform OS level patching to ensure InfoSec compliance.
• Respond to complex, escalated customer inquiries/requests for technical/operational support.
• Resolve complex technical issues and meet service level agreements.
• Analyze and implement corrective actions for root cause analysis/fixes or defects.
• Provide consultation on complex projects and act as the top-level contributor or specialist.
• Serve as a point of contact for higher-level or complex issues and collaborate with senior levels for resolution.
• This position is full-time and may require after-hours or on-call support, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of overall IT experience and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Strong understanding and experience in administration of BI tools such as Spotfire, Power BI, and Tibco Data Virtualization.
• Configuration and administration experience with Spotfire Server components (TIBCO Spotfire, Application Data Services, and Automation Services).
• Familiarity with Spotfire Administrative tasks, server and client installation/configuration.
• Expertise in business intelligence tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Power BI, Tibco Data Virtualization, Python, Unix Scripts, etc., for creating dashboards.
• Experience in user training, issue resolution, and coordination with software vendor technical support.
• Proficient in creating dashboards, reports, information links, and providing training to users.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows Administration.
• Knowledge of databases like Postgres, MS SQL, Synapse, Oracle; programming using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various technical documents.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Effective presentation skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills in situations with limited standardization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain good working relationships with vendors.
• Willingness to work with distributed teams and key stakeholders across different time zones.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
• Self-motivated, team player, and forward-thinking individual who can work with minimal supervision.
• Exercise good judgment and understanding of dependencies across multiple projects.
