JOB DESCRIPTION
The role requires a crucial task of analyzing business requirements and system specifications. It is also essential to provide comprehensive information on any issues that may arise and collaborate with UAT managers and other UAT leads to monitor and ensure the resolution of such issues.

Job Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of testing fundamentals.
- Knowledge of both waterfall and agile practices and terminologies.
- Familiarity with automation script development skills, particularly VB scripting, Excel Macros, QTP/UFT/Selenium.
- Ability to assist in defining and documenting test strategies.
- Key contributor to project delivery with the ability to manage multiple streams of work and deliver on time.
- Experience with web testing methods and writing SQL queries using SQL Server 2012 or higher.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and ability to quickly comprehend project goals/requirements, identify gaps/omissions and testing challenges/impediments.
- Capability to deliver ideas from concept through to implementation.
- Assistance in resolving team queries.
- Understanding of formal software test design techniques
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written, on both technical and business levels.
- Proficiency in gathering and understanding requirements and utilizing good analysis skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Strong comprehension of the Software Development Life Cycle and QA process and test methodologies
- Knowledge of JIRA and ALM would be beneficial.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Educational qualifications required: Graduation in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related Engineering fields. Examples include B.Sc., B.E, MCA, MTech in Computers/Electronics, etc.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing is required. Both manual and automation testing experience is accepted.
- Ability to create test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and manage defects is necessary.
- Familiarity with various Testing Tools like QTP, UFT, Selenium, etc. is an added advantage.
