Job Details:

MNJ SOFTWARE is seeking talented individuals to join our journey in building a best-in-class organization that delivers real results to global businesses. As a Big Data QA Analyst/Testing Engineer – Hadoop, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of custom projects and products. You will collaborate closely with leads, testers, customers, project/product managers, and designers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive test strategy, test plan, and test cases for big data implementation across digital platforms.
• Execute testing of data analytics and data integration within specified timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Business Systems Analysts, and Developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Follow quality management best practices and processes to ensure consistency and completeness in integration service testing.
• Participate in requirements, integration design, and development reviews.
• Review test plans and test cases with the core team.
• Establish and maintain processes to support and enhance analytic practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-6 years of experience testing BI and analytics, including writing and executing integration test plans and scenarios.
• Strong testing experience with Oracle database, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Flume, and Oozie.
• Proficiency in SQL and handling unstructured, large volume data.
• Knowledge of UNIX, Linux sequence files, Hadoop cluster, and security.
• Experience with Java, Python, and shell scripting is preferred.
• Ability to create sample message sets and test data in Oracle.
• Experience in creating load/stress scripts and conducting load and performance testing.

Requirements:

• Education: ME/M.TECH/BE/B.TECH/MCA/M.Sc. (IT) or equivalent.
• Job Type: Permanent/Contract (depending on project needs or contract-to-hire).
• Position Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility in working hours (6am – 10pm IST) or (6pm to 6am IST). Occasional unpaid overtime may be required.
• Location: Remote (Work from Home).
