Responsibilities:

• Develop expertise in Netskope’s cloud security solutions and contribute to their design and qualification.
• Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution for testing purposes.
• Collaborate with the development and design teams to enhance user experience.
• Identify and communicate risks associated with releases and ensure solutions deliver value to customers.
• Develop automation scripts parallel to feature development to enable Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures and define acceptance criteria.
• Optimize test procedures to improve efficiency in test plan execution.
• Make quality decisions for the solution and act as a customer advocate throughout the release process.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using tools like Drone, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
• Experience in testing distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Strong Quality Engineering methodology.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Linux, Windows, and Mac systems.
• Experience and knowledge with TCP/HTTP protocol suite and REST services.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and object-oriented design principles.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of taking initiative regarding issues and decisions.
• Ability to apply data structures and algorithms to practical problems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field required, Master’s degree strongly preferred.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in cloud security or related domains.
• Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java, Go, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
