Responsibilities:

As a Junior QA, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting testing procedures to ensure software quality.
• Identifying and documenting defects or bugs in software applications.
• Executing test cases and test scripts to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software operations.
• Identifying, documenting, and prioritizing defects, and working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing conditions are understood and met.
• Participating in test planning, estimation, and strategy conversations.
• Contributing to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium and Appium.
• Proficiency in using testing tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes (STLC).

Education & Experience:

• Must have at least 1 year of work experience in quality assurance or related field.
• BTech in computer science or similar field.
