Qualification Requirements:
- Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline.
- 2+ years of professional experience in manual & automation testing
- Experience with Java/Python/Scala development.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase, Elastic Search stack (Advantageous)

Responsibilities:
- Champion the assessment of Data Science Solution deliverables across various real-time services for products across PayPal, Venmo, Braintree, and other areas
- Perform Big Data applications testing and API testing
- Ensure proper test strategy, planning, and flawless execution to mitigate risks and deliver engaging experiences for customers
- Gatekeep releases and ensure quality for solution engineering deliveries
- Collaborate with developers and data scientists on complex analytics applications
- Design and execute test plans for testing system back-end components to ensure product quality and coverage
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python, Java, & Scala
- Simulate end-to-end scenarios using various platforms & technologies
- Report on test progress and bugs found
- Share knowledge with other team members within the organization

Required Skills:
- Team player with a passion for learning new areas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytics, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Experience with Java/Python/Scala development
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase, Elastic Search stack (Advantageous)
Desirable Skills:
