Job Description
Cisco Next-Generation Fire Power Threat Défense (FTD) is the flagship product of the Security Business Group (SBG). It combines ASA Firewall services and the renowned IPS engine SNORT into a high-performance appliance. With its threat centric focus and distinctive features, FTD has established itself as a leading product in the market. However, we continuously strive to innovate and enhance our solutions to address evolving threat perceptions and changing data security paradigms, ensuring our customers’ ongoing security. Our team works on developing advanced security and threat mitigation solutions that are highly performant, scalable, and easy to manage.
Currently, the System Integration Testing team in India is seeking skilled and motivated individuals who can effectively work in a team-oriented environment. They will contribute to the development and testing of our next-generation firewall technologies.
Who You Are:
- You have 2+ years of experience in Networking/Security Domain Testing.
- You are proficient in TCP/IP networking, network management, and IPv6.
- You possess expertise in network security, including intrusion prevention, intrusion detection, NAT, access-list, IPSEC and SSL VPN, and TLS.
- You have experience and knowledge in Routing & Switching, such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLAN, STP, DHCP, and multicast.
- You have worked with virtual technologies like ESXi, KVM, AWS, Azure, and OCI.
- You are experienced with legitimate and malware application traffic generator tools, Linux, Windows, Packet tracer, Wireshark, and tcpdump Tools.
- You are familiar with Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Juniper, and Fortinet products (preferred).
- You have a background in automation using Python, Java, etc.
- You have experience in UI and API-based test automation.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate in the System Integration Testing (SIT) environment.
- Contribute to the design and testing of new and existing functionality in the product.
- Focus on deep internal aspects of the features and their integration with the operating system.
- Quickly learn new features, technologies, and platforms.
- Automate tests using FTL and integrate them into the regression process.
- Collaborate closely with the development and customer support teams to provide timely issue resolution.
