Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer III
Common Responsibilities:
- Possess the necessary technical and functional knowledge and experience in the relevant field, including understanding of Amadeus business and its relationship to the area of expertise.
- Follow existing procedures or guidelines and contribute insights to support and influence decisions in the area.
- Analyze various sources of information to make recommendations for new solutions and propose improvements.
Specific Responsibilities:
You will:
- Implement the test strategy:
- Define test cases based on customer requirements and ensure alignment with specifications.
- Compose functional and/or non-functional and/or non-regression test plans.
- Enhance the non-regression test repository as part of the Change Request plan.
- Design and execute tests:
- Create test cases and develop automated test scripts.
- Set up the test environment, prepare test data, and execute test cases.
- Assess the readiness of customer test campaigns (go/no-go decision).
- Oversee project, product, or release quality control.
- Resolve Problem Tracking Records (PTRs):
- Provide necessary information to developers for defect resolution.
- Validate PTR fixes and determine whether they meet quality standards for production load.
- Document software defects.
- Share knowledge:
- Participate in specification reviews to contribute testing requirements.
- Communicate and report on test activities to the line organization, software developers, and product definition analysts.
