We are seeking individuals with an engineering background who excel at providing comprehensive software quality solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective. Your main responsibility will be to oversee all stages of software development, ensuring system malfunctions are identified and resolved to meet quality standards.

Your tasks will include:

1. Reviewing system requirements and monitoring quality assurance metrics.
2. Implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.
3. Understanding the client’s project and replicating the same scenario using the Appvance platform.
4. Designing and architecting complex testing scripts within tight timelines.
5. Documenting new processes and keeping existing documentation up to date.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a testing organization or department, with expertise in functional, automation, and performance testing.
2. Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
3. Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
4. Proficiency in Automated Functional Testing tools such as QTP, Rational, or Selenium.
5. Experience in testing UI, web applications, and web services.
6. Ability to lead discussions, understand issues, and provide workarounds.
7. Familiarity with automation tools like Sahi, Selenium, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.
8. Capability to analyze application logs.
9. Experience in reporting bugs, preparing test reports, and tracking bugs to resolution.
10. Thorough understanding of all phases of software testing and quality control.
