Success in this role looks like:

• Fixing defects in bounded areas of code, addressing simple problems independently and more complex ones with assistance. Additionally, reviewing external customer User Communication Forms (UCF’s) for specific components and updating or creating new test cases as needed.
• Handling contacts and UCFs in bounded product areas and expediting resolutions.
• Collaborating effectively in virtual teams.
• Participating in innovation activities by generating and commenting on ideas as part of a team, as well as creating knowledge documents.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer.
• An analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Automation test processes and the ability to create test cases based on given requirements.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and BLC.
• Proficiency in performing build and deployment activities for application development efforts. This includes designing basic requirements that are effective, timely, and compliant with project standards.
• Detailed design skills for application and technical architecture components, as well as configuration, programming, and testing of these components. Ability to analyze defects and performance-related problems.
• Accountability for service commitments at the individual request level for development work in scope.
• Collaboration with the BA team to understand requirements and use cases, and providing input for sizing assigned use cases.
• Independent deployment of QAT or UAT environments and effective handling of errors with proper Bug Life Cycle.
• Excellent communication skills.
