Job Description:

Middle Functional Testing Engineer

Location: India

• We are currently seeking a Middle Functional Testing Engineer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in QA, possess basic SQL knowledge, and have a background in API (without UI) and Web testing.

Our client is a global technology company headquartered in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, with international headquarters in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop functional testing plans and execute end-to-end phases of testing.
2. Document procedures for functional, regression, and acceptance testing.
3. Refine full functional test plans and develop Quality Assurance test plans.
4. Track defects found during software release phases and develop test data for the software development life cycle.
5. Estimate workload requirements and develop standard test strategy plans.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA.
2. Experience in defining the scope of testing, creating test plans, writing test cases, and reporting bugs in Jira.
3. Understanding of QA requirements at each stage of the product lifecycle.
4. Proficiency in API (without UI) and Web testing.
5. Basic knowledge of SQL.
6. Ability to deploy VM (Hyper-V, ESXi, Virtuozzo), install OS (Linux or Windows), configure NIC, perform basic troubleshooting tasks (file editing, chmod, service restart, running processes), and install Acronis or third-party software following instructions.
7. Intermediate level of English proficiency (both verbal and written).
