Job Description:

• Develops testing plan scenarios for various types of testing, including complex unit, process, function, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Takes responsibility for defining, planning, and executing testing efforts within assigned projects.
• Provides technical guidance and expertise to project teams.
• May allocate and coordinate work within a team or project.
• Designs and develops test cases, scenarios, and scripts to ensure the quality of applications.
• Creates usability testing scenarios and oversees the testing process for complex portions.
• Establishes criteria for testing and analyzes the results of testing sessions.
• Presents the results to Quality Assurance leadership.
• Analyzes requirements for complex systems.
• Assists in resolving complex problems identified during testing.
• Recommends new products and provides guidance and expertise in their development.
• Identifies and documents software and systems defects.
• Assists in finding solutions to resolve defects.
• Contributes to the achievement of objectives within related teams.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• An advanced degree is beneficial.
• Requires 6-8 years of experience in a systems quality environment.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
