Job Description:

Quality Analyst (Insurance Industry)

Introduction:

Your Role and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct quality reviews, operational controls, and process audits in Life & Annuity Claims, Policy Admin, and AR Processes, following defined Quality Control processes.
2. Prepare and present performance analysis, QA reports, and other relevant information on quality performance.
3. Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions for process and individual performance improvement.
4. Provide feedback to agents and document workflows, changes, and procedures, ensuring comprehensive documentation of quality monitoring activities.
5. Maintain close coordination with operations leaders (Process Expert/TL/Manager), Process Trainers, and Process Owners to ensure accurate and timely sharing of QA results and analysis.
6. Assist or lead training efforts to maintain consistent and accurate standard procedures.
7. Communicate professionally and courteously in written communication with external customers (e.g., claimants) regarding claim processing requirements.
8. Identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities, driving projects for closure.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

1. Professional experience in the Insurance industry with 3-4 years of Quality Analyst experience in Insurance processes.
2. Knowledge of Quality Tools and Statistical Techniques (Six Sigma, Lean), with Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
3. Proficiency in MS Office and computer applications.
4. Experience in implementing operational controls and process improvements.
5. Strong written and oral communication skills.
6. Willingness to work in shifts to support US clients.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

1. Graduation in any stream (except B.Tech and Technical Graduation & Law).

Business Process Operations is a key service area in IBM Consulting, encompassing various service lines such as Customer Transformation, Finance & Supply Chain Transformation, Talent Transformation, and Industry Transformation (Banking, Insurance & Healthcare).
