Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the QA Lead to analyze functional and automation requirements.
• Prepare test scripts or test cases for all responsible projects.
• Identify test scenarios, corner cases, and suggest improvements.
• Document traceability of test cases and automation test scripts with respect to test cases and requirement documents.
• Estimate and design tests.
• Execute functional and regression testing of In-Vehicle Infotainment UI.
• Conduct manual test case execution and document test results.
• Coordinate with the automation team to write and execute scripts and document automation test results.
• Log defects in JIRA and report progress to the Sr. QA Lead/Manager.
• Assist the Sr. QA Lead/Manager in capturing and reporting test metrics and provide support in analyzing metrics, test coverage reports, root cause analysis, and implementation of improvement actions as necessary.
• Come up with innovative and smart ways of doing work without compromising quality.
• Help other test engineers on testing tasks.
• Capable of handling different projects as needed.
• Interact with counterparts from other locations on test strategy, release sign-offs, test approach, and providing test solutions.

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of experience in UI software manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing, automation framework development, test automation, test scenario creation, test case creation, test case execution, traceability matrix, logging and tracking bugs, regression testing, and test closure.
• Successful track record as a quality assurance lead.
• Extensive experience in testing In-Vehicle Infotainment UI.
• Expertise in Python scripting language.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience in agile software development process (SCRUM/KANBAN).
• Experience in proposing test strategies, reviewing requirements with business users, and preparing test estimates with test plan.
