Job Description for SDET:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) at DTCC, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions. Proficiency in Java and modern testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and Rest Assured is required. The role involves collaborating with software development teams, writing and maintaining automated test scripts and plans, resolving defects, and improving software testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and complete automated tests
• Collaborate with software development teams
• Write and maintain automated test scripts and plans
• Identify and resolve defects
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar or related role
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong experience with automated testing and test-driven development
• Proficiency in Java and XML/JSON
• Knowledge of databases and SQL preferred
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery processes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Python, C#, or other programming languages
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques
